About this event
Join the Washington DC Region SCCA for our "Helmets Off To Heroes" High Performance Driving Event on November 6th on the Summit Point Shenandoah Circuit, located near Summit Point WV.
This event is free to veterans and active duty military. Please bring your military ID or other proof of service to the event. Priority will be given to those that have never driven on track.
This is an all day event with basic performance driving drills in the morning (braking and slalom), then track time and skid pad time the rest of the day. Non-modified street cars are the perfect car for this event! We're limiting the event to 35 drivers.

Event requirements

Open cars (convertibles, retractable or removable hardtop) must have an after-market roll bar installed that meets SCCA TT Level 2 safety requirements. See the Supplements Document in the Event Information Directory for details. Exceptions are approved only on a case-by-case basis and requires factory documentation, contact our Tech Lead, Louis (lalessi43@gmail.com), prior to registration to request an exception.
A Tech Inspection of your car must be completed before attending the event, and a completed Tech Inspection Form must be provided during the sign-in process the day of the event. The Tech Inspection Form can be found here: HPDE/TT Tech Form.
