Event Schedule

  • 8 am to 9 am - Kid Karts Only
  • 9 am - starts the HCKC Controlled Practice
  • 4 pm - Pit Pass Registration Opens
  • 5 pm - Drivers' Meeting followed by Qualifying and Kid Kart Heat 1
  • 6 pm - Races Start

Neck Braces and proper safety gear required at all times, no driving in the pits doing so will result in a DQ for the event.  Karts may only be started in the grid area with a driver in the seat!  (other clubs have reported runaway karts by not following this rule).  We recommend that everyone involved with your racing team watch this short video regardless of class raced - https://youtu.be/tLO4ucSAupE?t=4

Schedule

Session 1

First 10 minutes of each hour:
Kid Karts Only

 

 
 
 

 

Session 2

10-past through 25-past of each hour:
Juniors Only

Session 3

25-past through 35-past of each hour:
Non-Rookie Juniors & Seniors (no shifters)

Session 4

35 past of each hour until Session 1:
Seniors and Shifters Only


Important: Any club member may wave the checkered flag, if the session is over and karts for the next session are available on the grid. Otherwise, the session in progress may run until someone lines up on the grid for the session as outlined above. Once all karts are clear from the track the next session may begin.

 

 



Please be aware that HCKC events are run by the membership and those that volunteer, you may be asked to help your club out for duties like Grid Stewart, Pre-Tech, Scales, cut-thru, etc.
