Gunning for Roses Practice

Auto Club Speedway

About this event

2014 Gunning for Roses Practice

Hosted by the E-Board

Auto Club Speedway - February 8, 2014

What to expect - For this event, we're going to try and keep work time to a minimum and fun time at a maximum.   As usual, we expect to have a great course for your autocrossing pleasure.

There might be food - Ah, one of the great unknowns.  We hope to have the PFM gang out with the BBQ, but it hasn't been confirmed........Stand by!

Hey.....don't forget your water - It may be hot out there so be prepared.  The night before, put 5 or 6 bottles of water in the freezer per person.  Kept in a small cooler, you'll have a supply of cold water all day just in case.

When you arrive - Come through the main gate on Cherry.  Be sure to observe the 25 speed limit while inside the facility.  Follow the road past the grandstand to the parking lot in the far west portion of the property, turning left at the first tee intersection.   When you see the large lot laden with bright orange cones you know you’ve arrived.  Be sure to sign the event waiver at the entrance to our area.  Park your car in any open spot and come to registration for check-in.  After registering, proceed to the tech area so your car and helmet can be approved.  Be sure allow enough time for a course walk.  That it's........you're ready to go.

No Overnight Camping - There is no overnight camping allowed on this site.  However, personal belongings, including vehicles, may remain overnight.  Everything must be removed by the time we leave on Sunday.  Neither Cal Club, CSCC, or Auto Club Speedway will be responsible for damaged, lost or stolen property.

Driving directions - For for turn by turn driving directions to the event, just left click on the map to the right.   For GPS use 9300 Cherry Avenue Fontana, CA, 92335

VERY IMPORTANT - As with any venue, we want to make a good impression on our landlords.  With that in mind, please use the receptacles for your trash and do not leave trash anywhere on site.  Also, have respect for the neighbors and drive carefully both inside and outside the site.
