LVRPCA Picnic Fun Drive to Gunlock State Park, Utah.
Bring your picnic baskets, blankets, frisbees, whatever you like for an enjoyable morning drive, picnic lunch and activities at the lake. It will be a great drive on September 14, 2024. we will leave from our usual location at the entrance to Lake Mead park east of Henderson on Lake Mead Drive. There is a parking lot to the right before the entry to the park where we will meet.
Meetup at East Lake Mead Entrance 9: 00AM. Driver's meeting at 9:15AM and depart at 9:30AM

This is a fee entry park so be prepared to pay $25.00 if you do not have a park pass. There is also a $15.00 day fee for Gunlock Lake.
We will leave at 9:30 and head North through the park and the exquisite roads and scenery the park provides. We will pass through Logandale and Overton. We will take I15 north to Mesquite but will exit at the Bunkerville exit just before Mesquite to bypass most of the town and hit the Smith’s gas station on the north end of Mesquite for a break and gas/supplies for those who may need anything.
We will then take the feeder road north and go under I15 and head towards Gunlock and the Lake. It should be beautiful that time of year so it should be a wonderful drive.
Make sure to sign up on MSREG ahead of time. Gary Lea and Jordan Godorov will be your lead and sweep drivers and both have travelled this route many times. It is truly a wonderful drive for the scenery and the twisties so come along and lets have a great drive!!!!
