“THE TWISTY BUSINESS TOUR RETURNS – THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE”
This year staying at The Greenbrier Resort, WV
After 4 trips to the Homestead and a visit to The Greenbrier last year, we have arranged to lodge at The Greenbrier itself this year. This promises to be our best yet! We will leave Friday, Sept 12 about 10 am from Haymarket, VA and drive mostly back roads to the Greenbrier by way of the Shenandoah National Park. We should arrive by about 6:30 pm to the Greenbrier just in time for Happy hour and then late dinner. We will try to have a group dinner both nights for those who want to attend. Separate dinners, drinks and dancing are available in several pubs and clubs if interested. And there is a new $200 M Casino to use to win money to buy tires and pads.
The Greenbrier is absolutely fabulous with all kinds of ways to have fun- pools, tennis, world-renowned golf, horses, shooting, 4x4 jeep excursions, a Cold War Bunker where they were supposed to lock Congress in to protect us from them, and wonderful meals from casual to very dressy. It’s one of the US’s finest properties and a place everyone should see- made even better with a group of friends. It is also one of the best resorts in America for kids so feel free to bring them. And at $200 / night for a nice room it’s a great deal. Plus suites / upgrades are available for reasonable extra fees. And we get special parking in front on the circle for the first 25 cars.
On Saturday morning we are planning a group drive for about 4 hours (with breaks) over the best roads of Pocahontas County, WV to a place TBD including a great lunch. Saturday night, we have a local Bluegrass Band, Southern Rail Express, playing outside for us on the Rhododendron Terrace with a cash bar and a la carte dinner. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-0GP5gLP88 .
Sunday morning, we have a private tour of the Greenbrier’s exclusive Cold War-era Congressional Underground Bunker. http://www.greenbrier.com/Activities/The-Bunker/Bunker-Tours.aspx . Sunday can also be a free day so you may do anything, and leave any time you like, however you wish.
Now the best part- we have secured a special rate for Porsche Potomac Club members starting at ONLY $200.00/night (as much as half off and excluding resort charges and taxes). We only have 25 rooms reserved so please act fast- this one’s sure to sell out.
To register: There is a $100 fee per 18 yo and over adult which attends which covers the cost of your Bunker Tour ticket, the Bluegrass band, and a great 4th annual PCA T-shirt. Everything else is a la carte. Note – you must book your room under our block until we satisfy our 25 room commitment as PCA Potomac is on the hook for it. Thank you.

TO BOOK YOUR HOTEL ROOM, CALL THE GREENBRIER DIRECTLY BETWEEN 8 AM AND 5 PM ET WEEKDAYS AT (866) 705-4506AND TELL THEM YOU ARE WITH THE POTOMAC PORSCHE CLUB.
THEY WILL PULL UP OUR ROOM BLOCK AND LET YOU ACCESS THE RATE AND DEDUCT ROOMS FROM OUR PRE-COMMITTED 25 ROOM BLOCK. YOU MAY UPGRADE AS WELL SO FEEL FREE. WE ASK THAT YOU USE THE PORSCHE CLUB RATE AS THE CLUB HAD TO COMMIT TO THIS. IF YOU DO NOT, YOUR ROOMS MAY NOT COUNT AGAINST OUR COMMITTMENT.
