About this event
The GoPro Motorplex Karting Challenge - the official, in-house racing series of GoPro Motorplex - will compete on one weekend a month from March through November, including some doubleheader events. For more information, or to view the full schedule, please visit the Race Series page on GoPro Motorplex's website. This is a KART OWNER ENTRY for Round 6 of the series, scheduled for August 25.

Event requirements
The GoPro Motorplex Karting Challenge will feature the full Rotax MAX Challenge Series class structure, in addition to other popular karting classes. The class structure will be as follows:
1.) Official Rotax Max Challenge Series (Will support the full Rotax class structure; Mojo Tires)
2.) TaG Sr. (Leopard and Rotax engines only; Hoosier MMX 'A' compound tire)
3.) TaG Masters (Leopard and Rotax engines only; Hoosier MMX 'A' compound tire)
4.) Open Shifter (Hoosier MMX 'A' tire)
5.) Yamaha Classes Jr-Masters (Bridgestone YLC)
* Please note the following when submitting your kart number preferences:
Group 1: Rotax Micro Max (Must run a 3 digit number beginning with 1)
Group 2: Rotax Mini Max (Must run a 3 digit number beginning with 2)
Group 3: Rotax Senior/Rotax Masters (Must run a 3 digit number beginning with 3)
Group 4: Rotax Junior (Must run a 3 digit number beginning with 4)
Group 5: All Yamahas (Must run a 3 digit number beginning with 5)
Group 6: TaG Senior/TaG Masters/Open Shifter/Rotax DD-2/Rotax DD-2 Masters (Must run a 3 digit number beginning with 6).
** If you do not have your own transponder, you must rent one on the day of the event using a credit card. The rental fee for the transponder is $20. If the rented transponder is not returned at the conclusion of the event, the entrant will be charged $250 for the cost of the unit.
