Flying Low in 23 Autocross at Ankeny Airport

General Event Information

All listed times are Central Daylight Times (CDT).  Driver’s license and NCCC card (for NCCC members) must be presented at check-in. Helmets, with a rating of SA2015 or newer, are required.  All minors and pets are the responsibility of the parent/owner.  No class changes allowed after tech closes unless a mechanical malfunction is experienced.  No firearms allowed on airport property.

Beginning Friday, you may park your RV in the paddock area at the Airport and stay in it overnight.

LONG PANTS OR FIRESUITS ARE REQUIRED FOR DRIVERS OF GROUP 3 CARS.   DRIVERS IN GROUPS 1 AND 2 MAY WEAR SHORTS, ALTHOUGH JEANS, LONG PANTS, OR FIRE PANTS ARE RECOMMENDED. 

The host club event Chairperson, Club Governor, Host Region RCD or NCCC VP Comp at the event may deny or remove any person demonstrating unsafe performance or actions at the event from participating in any events for the balance of that day or weekend.  Further, a person who has been documented as behaving in an unsafe manner which could endanger them or anyone else at the events then that person may be denied participation. 

        In the interest of safety, we will have a brief safety meeting following the drivers’ meeting each day.

Each competitor, worker, and spectator on the property must personally sign the insurance waiver.

We reserve the right to limit the number of non-Corvette competitors.

Non-NCCC member participants and workers are not covered by NCCC insurance!

NCCC membership applications are available on-site.

Friday night tech will be available at the airport from 5-7 pm.

Saturday - Monday tech opens at 7:00 am.  Drivers' meeting at 8:30.  First car off at 9:00 am or after Drivers' meeting. Corner workers will come from the Drivers' pool.

Trailers can be dropped and left at the airport on Friday night from 5-7 pm.

We are still working out the details, but we intend to have food available on-site during the event, and a dinner on Saturday night.
