About this event
In September 1999, a few faithful Audi owners gathered for the inaugural PCC Audi Club Fall Foliage Fun Run. Continuing the tradition, PCC's Fall Foliage Fun Run is once again on the calendar. Another day of scenic roads, great cars, and wonderful company. The Fun Run drive covers approximately 190 miles through some of the best twisty country roads you have ever experienced, with interesting and scenic rest stops along the way including Greenbank, WV and Goshen Pass, VA.
Event requirements
Details about the route will be sent to registered attendees shortly before the run. We will start in Harrisonburg, VA at 10:00am and expect to spend a full day driving country and mountain roads. Our stopping point will be Goshen Pass, VA possibly as late as 4-5pm. As such, please pack lunch and water or other beverages for yourself. Note that in previous years we have stopped at Green Bank Observatory and participants have been able to purchase lunch at the Starlight Cafe, however, this may no longer be possible or it may require purchasing an admission ticket.
Schedule:
9:30am - Mandatory drivers meeting - Harrisonburg, VA
10:00am - First group departs - Harrisonburg, VA
4:00pm - End - Goshen Pass, VA
In addition to packing lunch and beverages, we recommend bringing an FRS radio to communicate with event organizers during the drive. There may be several locations with poor or no cell service during the drive. You can also join our discord (see https://linktr.ee/acna_pcc) to communicate with us if you get lost and do have cell reception.
