Granite Bay to Pollock Pines to El Dorado Saloon & Bar

Depart Granite Bay heading north to Auburn, drop down into the American River Confluence and travel CA 49 to Placerville.    Our favorite Cedar Ravine Rd (driving the opposite direction we usually go) takes us to Pleasant Valley Rd and onto Holiday Market north of Somerset for a quick restroom stop.   Following Sly Park Rd, we skirt Jenkinson Lake and Sly Park Recreation Area before joining Pony Express Rd at Pollock Pines to parallel Highway 50 back to Placerville and join Green Valley Rd for the final leg back to El Doredo Hills for lunch.
