Let’s enjoy a scenic and thrilling drive from Mesa via US-60 to Show Low and then returning thru Payson on AZ-260 and AZ-87.

The event starts at the IHOP parking lot in east Mesa.

From there we will begin with a leisurely drive on East US-60 through Superior continuing through the historic Queen Creek Tunnel, where we do get to have a little fun as we continue our way towards Globe winding along the mountain side and driving thru the "Top of the World".

Once in Globe we will stop for our first break. Then after break we will continue on US 60 and work our way through the Salt River Canyon towards Show Low. This stretch of US-60 has some great views along with plenty of hairpin curves and is definitely worth the trip.

Once in Show Low we will stop for lunch at "The House" where we will enjoy great burgers & sandwiches with very nice outdoor seating in a backyard setting. 

After lunch, the fun continues as we drive back. The official end of the trip is in Payson. From there most of us will be heading south on AZ-87.
