Driver Reg - 2014 National Championship Runoffs
Mazda Raceway Laguna SecaAbout this event
LAST DAY FOR EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION FEE IS FRIDAY, AUGUST 29th!!!!
Each year, drivers race in events across the country to qualify for one last, winner-take-all event -the SCCA National Championship Runoffs. Some of the most famous American racers have won at the Runoffs, including Bobby Rahal, Boris Said, Paul Newman, Scott Sharp and Skip Barber. There is a strong possibility that the next great American racing driver may be racing at the Runoffs this year.
50 years after the first edition at Riverside in 1964 and long after its last visit in 1968, the SCCA Naitonal Championship Runoffs returns to the west coast in a big way with an event at the iconic Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, October 6-12th. National Champions will be crowned in 27 Runoffs-eligible classes in this winner-take-all motorsports classic. The week includes testing on Monday, qualifying Tuesday through Thursday and three days of National Championship racing, Friday through Sunday.
