Unwind and Drive: Low-Pressure HPDE Weekend at Atlanta Motorsports Park
Escape the crowded tracks and high-stress driving environment for a truly relaxed and focused High-Performance Driving Event (HPDE) weekend at the spectacular Atlanta Motorsports Park (AMP). This isn't about pushing limits in traffic; it's about pure seat time, learning at your own pace, and enjoying the drive in a supportive, low-key setting. HOD-MA promises nearly six hours (or more) of track time per run group; don't miss this chance to maximize seat time and start your 2026 season early!

No need to worry about what the weather is either because at Hooked on Driving you can run windows up
Parade laps will be available at lunch both days! A great way to have some safe fun on track with family and friends! Details below:
- $50 fee (with a portion going to Racing for Parkinson’s) for laps on track during lunch hour
- Helmets not required, can have as many people in the vehicle as seatbelts it has
- Sign-up at registration when you check-in for the event to get your wristband, announcements will be made at the track before lunch with where to line up
Ride-a-longs - Ride-a-longs with Coaches and Pros will be available! ~3 laps for $30 (a portion of which will go to Racing for Parkinson’s), must be age 14 or above, helmets required (bring yours or pay to rent one!) - Sign up at Registration!
Happy Hour (or two!) Available Saturday Night!
We are doing a Happy Hour on the SkyDeck at AMP! - 5-7PM Saturday
- $60 for an open bar with premium liquor / mixers, wine, and beer!
- Included with event fee for OUT Motorsports and Porsches and Pearls
- Sign up at Reg when you check in for your wristband!
- Discounts for Coaches and Staff - please email for details
BBQ Dinner on Saturday Night!
BBQ from AMP’s Fuel Kitchen will be served at 6PM Saturday night!
- Price for driver’s meal included with purchase of the event!
- Add on friends/family/etc for $30 each (kids under 10 eat free)
Photo Packages available from RogoPhoto!
- For $100 Drivers can get a package with many high-resolution photos of THEIR CAR ON-TRACK AT AMP! - Sign-Up here
- This will be available at ALL HOD Mid-A events this year!
- All drivers will get 1 high-quality, hi-res photo as part of their entry - Sent after the event after photo packages are processed - Some additional photos may also be available for purchase after the event (but note that this is not guaranteed)

- We will have carafes of coffee on-site each morning for folks to start their day with!

- We will have T-Shirts, Hats, and Hoodies for sale at Reg from Hooked On Driving and partner brands (Racing For Parkinson’s, Spicy Cat Racing, etc) available for purchase at registration
- Note: OUT Motorsports and Porsches and Pearls will both get their swag bags at the event including a special T-Shirt marking this occasion!

Event requirements
Getting on track:
SA2020 or SA2025 helmets are required for the event. Motorcycle or M helmets are not allowed. NOTE: SA2015 Helmets will NOT BE PERMIITED
Helmets and HANS devices are available for rent in a variety of sizes at the event. For those cars with more than a 3-point seatbelt, or have a roll-bar installed, HANS devices are required.
Car numbers are mandatory at all tracks. They must be on both sides of the car, at least 6" high, and easily visible to the corner workers. HOD numbers are available for purchase with on-line registration or at the track ($10).
AMP Gate, Camping, and Sound Info
- Camping is allowed on site, 110v power is available on a first come, first served basis and is free
- The gate will close at 8pm each evening, you will not be able to re-enter after this time, so please plan your camping/dinners/trips accordingly (dinner Sat is on us, see below!)
- On track, AMP has a sound limit of 98db as measured at approx 50ft from the track surface between Turn 6 and 7.
- Most factory or near-factory vehicles should pass
- If you are above sound, you will be notified and have one chance per day to resolve the issue. After the second notification you will not be allowed on track the remainder of the day (you can try again the next day)
