Drive & Tour of the Mighty 8th Air Force Museum.
We will leave the parking lot of the Cracker Barrel Restaurant (157 Okatie Center Blvd N, Okatie, SC 29909) at 9:45 on Friday, June 13. We all need to sign the BMWCCA driving waivers, and then do a caravan drive on the back roads to the Mighty 8th Air Force Museum in Pooler, GA. We intend on arriving at the Museum by 10:30 am, giving time to pay our admission and be ready to start the tour promptly at 11:00.
I have booked our club for a guided tour by a docent of the museum on Friday, June 13 touring from 11am-1pm, with lunch to follow at 1pm to 2pm. The lunch and guided tour package for $22 each and will be collected by the museum from each participant before beginning the tour. Each guided tour package includes the hot buffet lunch, tax and tip at Miss Sophie's Marketplace inside the museum.
Following the lunch, we will be on our own to continue exploring the museum, head back home on our own, or check out the Tanger Outlets in Pooler (one exit North on 1-95 at the SAV Airport Exit).
Event requirements
We need an accurate count for the food, so............If you plan to have your spouse attend the tour with you, please do a separate registration for them too.
Also, before we leave the Cracker Barrel each participant (spouse and driver) will need to sign the BMWCCA Waiver Form, and obtain the wrist band indicating you've completed the waiver.
