Redwood Region PCA presents the
Devil's Gulch
A Monte Carlo rally on Saturday May 20, 2023
This event is open to all rallyists, regardless of PCA membership or make of car driven. The start is in San Rafael and the finish is in Windsor. The rally is about 112 miles and about 4 hours long.
Jerry and Renee Wachtel will rallymaster this running of Devil's Gulch rally featuring the backroads of Marin and Sonoma County. All roads are public, paved and in good condition.
The route will be clearly defined with street names, diagrams, and miles to each turn; there are no traps or gimmicks. Checkpoints will be GPS located and a smartphone will be required.
Two classes are offered, with no restrictions as to which you may enter:
- Novice: You will be given the exact time you are due at each checkpoint. No calculations will be rquired.
- Expert: You will be assigned speeds that you should average in order to arrive at the checkpoints on time. Typical TSD calculations will be necessary. Rally calculators/computers and other rally equipment are all welcome.
Registration closes Monday May 15th. The cost is $25 per car for PCA members or non-members driving a Porsche, and $30 per car for non-Porsche entries. Both driver and navigator should register, but only one needs to be a PCA member to qualify for the discounted entry fee..

Please note the following special requirements for this Redwood Region event:
All registration must be done through msreg.com by Sunday May 15th. There will be no on-site registration.
A navigator is required and they must be 13 years of age or older. This is a PCA rally requirement.
