Join us for the 55th anniversary of Cascade Sports Car Club’s classic Mountains to the Sea road rally. This year's rally offers a fun-to-drive all-paved route, ending at the Breakers Hotel in Long Beach, Washington.
This full-day beginner-level tour-style rally includes TSD regularity sections with GPS-timed passage controls, time of day restarts, and a Monte Carlo finale. Route instructions are accompanied by official mileage. Passage controls are identified in the route instructions.
Entry requires a street-legal vehicle, licensed and insured driver, navigator, and a smart device (e.g., cell phone or tablet) running the Competitor Richta GPS Checkpoints app. The Richta app will be used to time and score the rally.
The Breakers Hotel rates are $99 for a studio and $129 for a one bedroom, add $15 for a dog friendly room. Make your reservation by calling 360-642-4414, mention M2C Rally.

Due to the current global pandemic, online registration is required. Day-of-event on-site registration will not be available. This is Cascade’s seventh TSsD (Time Speed social Distance) road rally and will be conducted in compliance with current social distancing orders. “You stay in your car; we’ll stay in ours.”
Those who register by the Sept. 16 deadline will receive an email on Thursday, providing further instructions including your car number assignment, instructions for registering your car number in the Competitor Richta app, and a link to e-sign the required event insurance waiver. Once you’ve completed these check-in steps, we’ll email the route instructions. You’ll need to print them.
Event requirements
The Mountains to the Sea Rally is a beginner-level tour-style rally. No road rally experience needed. Familiarity with CSCC's Road Rally Rules is helpful.
The driver must have a valid driver’s license and carry minimum insurance coverage(s) as required in the state where the vehicle is registered.
Each entry team must have a smart device (e.g., cell phone or tablet) running the most current version of the Competitor Richta GPS Checkpoints app. Instructions for downloading and using the Richta app will be provided Thursday before the rally as part of your entry check-in. All occupants of the vehicle registered for this event - driver, navigator, passengers - must e-sign the required event insurance waiver. The link to e-sign the waiver will be provided Thursday before the rally as part of check-in.
A parent or legal guardian must sign a minor release form for participants under the age of 18. Contact rally@cascadesportscarclub.org if you need a minor release form.
