About this event
Turn One Racer Test and Tune Days provide the opportunity for racers with a competition license and qualifying vehicle to test & tune on Carolina Motorsports Park’s newly repaved road course. This program is intended for racers needing additional “seat time” or for race teams seeking additional testing time.
Groups include under 3 liter, over 3 liter and open wheel. Bring your race license and current logbook to registration. If sharing a car, each driver will need to register separately.
Passing will be permitted but “mock racing” will not be permitted.
Gates open: Thursday 3/25 @ 5:00PM (camping available Thursday night 3/25, Friday night 3/26, and Saturday night 3/27)
Gates close: Sunday 3/28 @ 7:00PM (All persons must leave facility by Sunday night at 7:00PM)
Track will go hot between 8:30-9:00AM. Sessions will be approximately 20-30 minutes in length.

- Driver must present a current competition license and vehicle logbook from one of the Approved Sanctioning Bodies:

- » SVRA
At the discretion of Carolina Motorsports Park, drivers with current competition licenses from other sanctioning bodies and recent graduates of accredited 2 to 3-day racing schools may be eligible.
- Full driver safely gear must be utilized per competition license sanctioning body requirements including:
- » Closed-faced SA 2010 or newer helmet
- » Fire-resistant drivers suit
- » Fire-resistant underwear (voluntary with multi-layer suit)
- » Fire-resistant socks
- » Fire resistant gloves and leather shoes
- » All vehicle safety equipment per vehicle logbook sanctioning body requirements must be utilized
