Fri, Sept 23 Drive from Seattle area to Chelan, WA and relax with a BBQ dinner overlooking Lake Chelan.
Sat, Sept 24 Enjoy wine tasting day with organized group events including lunch and dinner and a free afternoon to explore.
Sun, Sept 25 Half day of organized wine tasting and lunch.
Registration for this tour is limited to 20 cars or 40 people, whichever comes first.
Friday will begin with a drive over the mountains by way of the North Cascades Highway. For those who have not enjoyed this stretch of highway on road trips or on another BMW club drive, you will be in for a treat as we twist, climb and dive past dams, glacier-fed lakes, multiple mountain passes and quaint towns along the way. We will arrive in Chelan for a casual outdoor BBQ dinner overlooking the lake to wind down the day.
Saturday we will trek through winding country roads to a number of wineries nestled in the hills on the east side of Lake Chelan, including a private tasting and catered lunch at Benson Vineyards in Manson. After our daytime adventures, the evening will end with a group dinner in Chelan for an Italian feast.
Sunday is a scheduled half-day to include wineries on the west side of the lake. The tour will officially end just after lunch time to give you the option to explore the area further or start a leisurely return home.
The agenda is structured to be group-focused and the registration fee will include most meals and all winery fees for the weekend. The cost is $165 per person fee. The registration fee is non-refundable, but I will be accepting waitlist registrations if you need to give up your spot. Lodging will be reserved separately, and you will receive further instructions once you are confirmed for the tour. Discounted rooms are available from $122 to $160 per night.

Accommodations for the weekend will be two nights at Campbell's Resort on the sandy beaches of Lake Chelan. Campbell's is Chelan's premier downtown hotel and spa. Renovated in 2008, all rooms have a view of the lake, a private balcony or patio, a mini fridge, microwave and other comfortable amenities. Our room block this year will be a mix of studio, one and two bedroom units, some with full kitchens and elevator access.
Discounted rooms are available from $122 to $160 per night, depending on your preference.

Lake Chelan Winery will serve up a BBQ dinner with your choice of ribs, chicken, prawns and salads.
Lunch Saturday
Benson Vineyards will host us at their beautiful winery overlooking the lake, where we will be treated to a private tour, tasting and lunch served on the patio and lawn.

Enjoy a group dinner at Sorrento's. Our meal will be served outdoors as the sun sets on the valley and Lake Chelan.

Karma Cellars will serve us hors d'oeuvres on their "Lilac patio" overlooking the lake.
Parking
- Hotel:The hotel has a spacious lot and we will have a reserved area for BMW parking.
- Wine Tasting: Some wineries are smaller lots, which will require us to park stacked like we have in the past for group driving tours.
- Group Dinner:The restaurant is about 3 miles from the hotel and has a large parking lot.
Remember, registration for this tour is limited to 20 cars or 40 people, whichever comes first, due to the limited space available at the restaurant and the hotel.
