The Audi Club Golden Gate chapter is offering to purchase Chatterbox communicators for our instructors. The primary offer is available to all instructors, and provisional instructors. A more limited offer is also available to students who might wish to own their own student headset, or permanently mount a uninversal headset into their helmet. We make this offer to members in both the SOCAL and NORCAL chapters. The pricing of the offer is identical to both SOCAL and NORCAL members, but depending on which chapter you belong to, and whether you attend AudiFest or not, your delivery mechanism will be either at AudiFest (Norcal) in October, or at Buttonwillow (Socal) in November.
Who is eligible to purchase these units
Both the ACGG and SOCAL chapters have decided to not only negotiate a great deal for these communicators, but also to improve the deal by partially subsidizing the purchase by providing an additional level of discount.
How good of a deal are we offering?
We are offering a deal with this level of discount as our way of thanking our instructors, and also to ensure that all instructors have available to them, the latest technology. Feel free to look at the Chatterbox website, or by visiting any vendor that sells Chatterbox, and I guarantee that you will not see prices that come anywhere close to the discounts and incentives that we're offering. In general terms, we're buying these units at between 30% - 42% discount, and then providing an incentive on top of that.

Are these chatterboxes the same as the units that many instructors use today?
Please be aware that the units that we're offering to you are the latest generation of Chatterbox headset. These units are lighter and have better battery life than the previous sets. The interconnect between these base units and the headsets is different from the previous version of base unit. They make an adapter to allow you to use the new headsets with your old base units - but there are currently no adapters which allow you to use your old headsets with the new base units.
Event requirements
This offer is only made available to those instructors that are members of the Golden Gate Chapter, the SOCAL chapter, or if they regularly attend events for either of these two chapters, and will be attending AudiFest, or the upcoming event at Buttonwillow, 2013.
