The California Central Coast Region Porsche Club will hold a Driver's Education event for PCA members and non-PCA members on Oct. 18th, 2021 at the historic Laguna Seca Raceway. We were luckiy enough to receive a 92db sound limit!

We will have four run group sessions, beginner, novice, intermediate and expert
Drivers must have four days track experience or be signed off by a PCA certified instructor to drive solo. If you have questions concerning your eligibility, please email Bob Bruington at Aircooled911sc@gmail.com
As of now, In-Car instruction for novice drivers is available. Both instructor and student must be fully vaccinated. Students will be assigned instructors on a first come first served basis depending on instructor availability.

We at CCCR, encourage vintage cars, to participate in this event. If drivers wish to participate, we will attempt to have all pre 1989 cars in one group.
We accept completed Tech Forms from any legitimate auto focused business. Tech form here: CCCR TECH Form.pdf. Self Tech is not allowed Be informed that completed full tech of your car at the track on Monday is an additional $100.00 fee. To avoid this, have your car tech'd in advance! The gates will be open at 6:00am, bring your completed tech form to registration. Registration will close at 7:45am. If you are near San Luis Obispo, we offer a free tech at SGS Independent Porsche Care, 750 Francis St., San Luis Obispo, CA at a date to be determined. Please have full tech completed prior to attending the event!
Starting 1/1/19 PCA has required a head and neck restraint devise for any car with 5 or 6 point harness systems. Instructors please note, if you have a passenger in your car, he or she, must have equal restraints to yours including head and neck restraints.
One Free t-shirt is included in your registration. Registrations after 10/4/21 may not receive at t-shirt
2021 DE rules require helmets be Snell 2010SA or newer. Helmets are not available to rent
This is a rain or shine event.
Registration at the track will open at 6:00 AM and close just before the mandatory drivers meeting at 8:00 AM.

Event requirements
We follow PCA DE guidelines. Please pay attention to the race seat belt requirements for Zone 8. 2021 DE rules require helmets be Snell 2010SA or newer We strongly suggest you have your car tech'd prior to the event.
All participants must sign both insurance waivers, PCA and Laguna Seca, at the gate prior to entry.
