On Saturday March 25, 2023, CCCR member and restauranteur extraordinaire, Antonio Varia has invited us to Buona Tavola in Paso Robles for a specially prepared lunch!!
We will meet at Porsche San Luis Obispo at 10:30am, drive through the hills to Paso and have lunch at noon.
The menu consists of:
Insalata tricolore con Bruschetta
A mix of radicchio arugula salad, white button mushrooms shave Grana Padano in a light Caesar dressing, accompanied with a mushroom and tomato Bruschetta
A tris di pasta Buona Paso
Plated together:
Tortelloni di Zucca: Home made tortelloni stuffed with pumpkin and ricotta cheese with sage, mascarpone sauce and walnuts
Penne arrabbiata: Short tube pasta, garlic, Italian parsley and lightly spicy tomato sauce
Agnolotti allo Zafferano: Home made half moon shaped ravioli stuffed with scampi, braised sweet onions and prosciutto with saffron sauce
Tirami su
Lady fingers dipped in espresso, layered with mascarpone and covered with imported chocolate crumbles.
