Camp Roberts Museum

In celebration of Veterans Day we will be visiting the Camp Roberts Museum on Saturday November 14, 2026. We will meet at Porsche San Luis Obispo at 8:30am and have a backroads drive before we head up Hwy 101 to the camp.

Attendees must preregister, have a military ID, a passport or a California Real ID or equivalent and proof of auto insurance for the vehicle you are driving. We must submit a list of all registrants to Camp Roberts 2-3 days prior to our tour. Names on the list must match names on attendees IDs!!!!!

I have taken this tour and it is fascinating. During World War II, Camp Roberts was the largest military base on the planet and the museum is filled with vehicles, displays, and history.
