This event will be run as a Test and Tune with driving instructors available for entrants who want one for all or any part of the day
Solo Safety Steward School
There will also be a Solo Safety Steward School which is the first step in obtaining a solo safety steward license. You must be an SCCA member to participate. There is no fee for this school,
Pre-work for the Solo Safety Steward School
1. Create an account on SCCA.com
Go to www.scca.com, look in the top-right corner: there is a link to log in. Once you setup an account (which is linked to your membership) and login, click on your name that now appears and click on "Profile Page." Once there, look under the "SCCA Leadership" banner on the left. The second item from the bottom is the "Solo Safety Steward Participation" link. In this page, you can store all of the information needed to apply for, renew, or upgrade your SSS license.
2. Read the following

From the North: Harrisonburg, Winchester & Washington D.C.
From Harrisonburg and all points North, on Interstate 81, take Exit 227, Verona. Merge onto Laurel Hill Road (Route 612). At the second traffic light, turn left onto Lee Highway (Route 11). At thenext traffic light, turn left into the Government Center complex.
From the South: Staunton, Waynesboro, Charlottesville, Roanoke
From Staunton, Waynesboro, and all points South, on Interstate 81, take Exit 225, Woodrow Wilson Parkway. Turn left onto Woodrow Wilson Parkway (Route 275). At the first traffic light, turn rightonto Lee Highway (Route 11). At the second light, turn right into the Government Center complex
Class Definitions
- LADIES Class will be scored on the PAX of the respective base class entered. Participation in the LADIES Class is at the discretion of the entrant.
- NOVICE Class can be entered by participants that have entered less than 10 autocrosses or who have not completed a full season of Solo events. The NOVICE Class is scored on the PAX of each novice entrant. Participation in the NOVICE Class is at the discretion of the entrant.
- The street TIRE class allows cars in street prepared and street modified classes to run on non-race DOT tires. This will be a single class with entrant’s times adjusted by the PAX factor of the base class where they are eligible. Rims – The rims used must be legal for the base class. Tires – Must meet the requirements of the base class with the following additional restrictions. DOT tires with a UTQG tread wear rating of 200 or higher.
- PAX Class can be entered by experienced drivers who want to compete head to head based on the PAX index for their base class. Cars must be legal for their base class
- Open Class is for drivers who want to compete with others in their base class. Open Class is scored on time.

Current SCCA Member: (Must present membership card) $30.00
Others: (Includes mandatory SCCA Weekend Membership) $40.00
Non-members who register online do not have to fill out the SCCA Weekend Membership form at the event.

Event requirements
Entrants must show the Event Registrar their valid driver's license.
Entrants will be required to work, failure to do so, will result in working twice before they will be allowed to run in another Blue Ridge Region solo event.
SCCA membership is required for all entrants. Weekend Memberships are available for those who are not current SCCA members.
Weekend Memberships cost $10.00. The membership period is 5 consecutive days from the date of purchase. A Weekend Membership entitles you to a $15.00 discount when appying for a Regular SCCA Membership. The discount is good for 60 days. Limit two $15.00 discounts for a total of $30.00.
All drivers and passengers are required to wear a helmet. All helmets meeting the latest or two immediately preceding Snell Foundation standards (SA2015, SA2010, SAH2010, SA2005, SA2000, M2015, M2010, M2005, M2000, K2015, K2010, K2005, K98); SFI standards 31.1, 41.1, 31.1A, 31.2A, 41.1A, 41.2A; ECE R22.05; FIA standards 8859-2015, 8860-2010, 8860-2004; or British spec BS6658-85 type A are acceptable.
Loaner helmets are available. You will be required to wear a head sock (available to purchase onsite for $2.00) if you use a loaner helmet.
