Since we can't drive together as a group until June 1st, let's hear about an EPIC cross country trip in a BMW. Join us LIVE for an ON-LINE presentation about one BMW CCA member's incredible adventure in a car that, even after 30 years, started immediately and cruised smooth as butter, dawn to dusk.
Bluegrass Bimmers member Mike Janssen will share the story of an incredible adventure...one that started as a dream he had several years ago. As a younger man, Mike dreamed that for his 40th birthday, he would fly out to California, buy an E30 BMW convertible, and drive it all the way back across the country to his Kentucky home.
Thanks to his amazing fiancé, that dream became a reality in August of 2019.
Join us LIVE for a video conference to hear tales of cruising down the Pacific Coast Highway, a treasure-filled stop at CNC Motors, and driving through 127 heat in Death Valley...and more! Take your phone or laptop and sit by the fireplace (or your garage!), pour your favorite bourbon, and come hang out with bimmer enthusiasts!
Mike Janssen is a motorsports enthusiast who has a stable full of horsepower, including two BMW's, a Ducati, an Ariel Atom, several Honda's, and more! Mike's trophy case is full of memoriabilia of SCCA tournaments he has won and, through his Fuji Iimports shop in Lexington, KY, he and his team help keep owners of German and Japanese car imports happy through a variety of services.
