On Sunday August 2nd, 2026, Rain or Shine, the Shenandoah Region Porsche Club of America will have a driving tour originating at the Verona Moose Lodge, Staunton, VA . The tour will drive through the scenic  Western Augusta County , with at stop at Bluestone Winery(located at 4828 Spring Creek Rd, Bridgewater, VA 22812  with the tour concluding at Smiley's Ice Cream (located at  205 Don Litten Pkwy, Bridgewater, VA 22812)

We shall meet at the Verona Moose Lodge located at 1510 Commerce Rd, Staunton, VA 24401.  Plan to arrive at 7:45 AM. Breakfast will consist of sandwiches, muffins and coffee.(will be served as part of your registration fee). The mandatory driver's meeting will be at 8:45 AM.   Departures shall  start at  9:00 AM . Food and beverage will be available for individual purchase. Registration closes on July 27th  2026 at 9:00 AM.

This drive is sure to become a favorite, offering winding mountain roads, switchbacks, elevation changes and beautiful views along well-maintained primary and secondary roads. The excitement begins in Western Augusta County as the route crosses the Alleghany Mountains into Highland County, known as the “Little Switzerland of Virginia,” then dips into “almost heaven” West Virginia before returning to Virginia. The 113-mile drive includes two rest stops and ends with rewarding stops at Bluestone Vineyard and Smiley’s Ice Cream.

The official drive will end with lunch at the Bluestone Winery. Please bring a picnic lunch which you may enjoy indoors or outside on the patio with gorgeous scenery. 

There is an option at the mid-point break at the Brandywine General Store to purchase sandwiches/subs, etc., that will be allowed to be brought into the winery for your consumption.

Beverages and wine are to be purchased at Bluestone.  Directions to Smiley’s Ice Cream are provided for those who want dessert. For the Buc-ee's fans, this store is very near Smiley's Ice Cream's location.

The  $20 per person registration fee includes a continental breakfast. This shall apply for anyone registered for the tour .
