GVC BMW CCA and Pineview Run Bimmer Mania Weekend!
If you aren't the type of Bimmer Maniac to strap on 200 treadwear tires and go out on the track trying to set a smoking fast lap then this is definitely the event for you! GVC BMW CCA and Pineview Run have teamed up to create the Bimmer Mania Weekend, featuring activities for the whole family, all weekend, no matter what you're into.
Starting off the day bright and early on Saturday is our Advanced Driver's Time Attack event. This is the event where GVC members who are at an advanced level can get a full day of track time. Click here to register for that event!
If that's not your thing, you can still come hang out and watch your fellow club members chase the fastest time of the day, Lunch will be served by Pineview in COVID compliant boxed format starting around noon. Cost is $10. If you are into any of the other activities Pineview has to offer, you can reach out to them and see if there's something you'd like to do Saturday morning or afternoon.
Saturday evening will feature dinner at Pineview, and a bonfire where we can all socially distance and run through the list of excuses why we didn't set the fastest time of the day. Cost for Dinner is $20 per person.
Saturday night will feature camping at Pineview if you'd like to bring your RV or tent and make a night out of it! Click here to book a camp site
Sunday has two main options for the Bimmer lover, Pineview is generously offering 50% off the daily track price to any GVC member, anyone who participated in the Time Attack, or anyone who brings their favorite BMW, MINI, or Hardtop Z4... I mean, Supra. Click here to book your track pass for Sunday.
The other option for Sunday is the Touring Group. The touring group will consist of some paced laps bright and early in the morning. This will be at a brisk but easy pace. No helmet needed! The Touring Group will then set off and carve up some of Central New York's best driving roads and meet back at Pineview for lunch and another round of paced laps around the road course. The day will wrap up with another drive around the area. Cost for the Touring Group is $50, and will include lunch. You will need to purchase an additional lunch for any passengers.
