About this event
Thanks for checking out the Badlands Region SCCA. On the weekend of June 27/28 we will be hosting our 2020 Autocross Training Event. This event will be non typcial weekend. Saturday will be individual skill focused, and possibly a full course later in the day. Sunday will be full day of autocross. The event is being hosted by Badlands Region SCCA and the instruction / event schedule will be handled by Sticky Rice Racing. There will be 3 dedicated instructors available, which should help provide plent of instruction and plenty of seat time. Expect two full days of seat time and learning.
What you need to know about this event:
- 9AM Drivers Meeting Both Days
- You will be signing up for the full weekend vs a normal Saturday/Sunday like our normal events. There will not be 1 day sign up.
- This event will be limited to 25 participants(we may expand to higher based on the number of instructors we can come up with). Sign up soon before it is full!
- We will have the same COVID-19 Guidelines in place at this event as our others have this year. (No loaner helmets, no spectators, revised drivers meeting/course walk, pre-reigstration only, etc).
- This event does have a higher cost than a normal event, but pricing is adjusted to help cover cost of bringing in instructors from outside of the Badlands Region.

Event requirements
All participants are required to have their own helmet. We are not going to be using loaners at this time. All cars must be properly classes according to the SCCA Solo 2020 rules. Please review the 2020 SCCA Solo Rules for additional information such as: classing details, helmet requirements, etc.

- $100 for the full weekend.

Notice to Participants: In light of the current COVID-19 situation, every attempt will be made to minimize the risks of exposure to the virus. New processes and procedures are being developed and will be put into place for events going forward.
Ultimately, it is your responsibility to assess the risk to you, both on-track and off, and to make the decision on whether or not to participate. If you are feeling unwell or are experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath please stay home. If you have been in contact with someone who has been experiencing these symptoms in the last two weeks, please stay home.
While on site please take the health and safety of your fellow participants, volunteers and staff into consideration and practice social distancing, wear a mask, and wash your hands and/or use hand sanitizer frequently.
