Run a few autocross events in the past but want to learn more about it and get tips to improve your driving?

Autocross School Pricing -- $35 (Includes Yearly Individual Cumberland Motor Club Membership for 2022 Season)

Autocross School Schedule:
7:00 - 8:00 Registration:  All drivers must check in for payment and sign waiver.
8:00 Drivers Meeting:  This is Mandatory for all drivers.  Gather near timing tents.
8:20 Ground school class.
9:00 Cars to grid. Tech inspection.
9:15 In car autocross element training.
12:00 Lunch. (Lunch will be provided by Cumberland Motor Club)
12:30 In car full course autocross training.
3:30 Breakdown meeting.

The number of students will be limited. Sign up early!
Pre-registration only. There will be no on-site registration for the Autocross School.

We also need instructors and helpers to effectively run the event and have a successful school. If you would like to help out click the "Register now" button below and sign up!

Lunch will be provided for all students, instructors, and support staff!!

The school will be held at Brunswick Executive Airport.  This location is also known by the historical name:  Brunswick Naval Air Station (BNAS)

Event requirements

Autocross School Eligibility:
Any licensed driver with less than 1 full year of autocross experience with any club can sign up.

Driving is open to all club members.  Annual and weekend memberships are available for purchase.

All drivers, passengers, and spectators must sign the club liability waiver on-site.  Insurance regulations require all drivers and passengers to be licensed drivers (certain exceptions exist for junior karts).

A Snell rated (or equivalent) helmet is required for all drivers and passengers.   A limited number of club loaner helmets are available for use.  The current list of valid helmet certifications is maintained by the SCCA:  Helmet Certifications

All cars need to pass technical inspection

CMC uses SCCA solo rules for car classes.  If you are unsure on where to class your car, start with this Autocross Classification Tool.
