Event requirements

Driving is open to all club members.  Karts will be allowed.   Annual and weekend memberships are available for purchase.

All drivers, passengers, and spectators must sign the club liability waiver on-site.  Insurance regulations require all drivers and passengers to be licensed drivers (certain exceptions exist for junior karts).

A Snell rated (or equivalent) helmet is required for all drivers and passengers.   A limited number of club loaner helmets are available for use.  The current list of valid helmet certifications is maintained by the SCCA:  Helmet Certifications (pdf download)

All cars need to pass technical inspection

CMC uses SCCA solo rules (pdf download) for car classes.  If you are unsure on where to class your car, please inquire with the club officers.  The CMC Facebook page is a good resource for discussing car class questions, or use the Contact link below.
