Willkommen zum Augustoberfest! (Welcome to Augustoberfest!)
You’re invited to accompany the Drive and Dine crew on a 90-minute organized drive through the scenic backroads of Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland. Our destination is the Annual Augustoberfest celebration, boasting “the most authentic German festival around the area.” Come celebrate the German heritage of Hagerstown and Washington County, Maryland with authentic Bavarian food, Munich beer, and lively entertainment. We’ll cruise our way through scenic farmland and mountain valley views, ending up in Boonsboro, just after the gates open at 11:00 AM.
WHEN: Saturday, August 15th 2026; approximately 8:30 AM
WHERE: Potomac MD. Event details will be provided to confirmed participants.
COST: $10 per Vehicle. Members are responsible for venue admission, food, and drinks.
ROUTE: Across outer Montgomery, Frederick and Washington Counties in MD, including towns such as Jefferson and Sharpsburg, and ending in Boonsboro MD.

Event requirements
PAYMENT: When you register you will not initially be charged the $10.00 per car fee. We will charge your credit card approximately two weeks prior to the event.
- PCA Potomac only accepts credit cards for payment. You are responsible for maintaining VALID CREDIT CARD INFORMATION in your MSR profile.
- Billing problems result in notification by email with limited time to resolve due to the short billing cycles. If the issue is not resolved, you may be canceled from the event.
- Credit card and billing information uses secure connections and is protected by MotorSportReg.com. You are the only person who has access to your card number. We only see the last four digits for billing purposes.
APPLICATIONS/ACCEPTANCE
- Registrants will initially be listed as “New” or "Waitlisted" if the event is filled. Your spot is secured when your status has been updated to "Confirmed."
- You are responsible for updating your profile in motorsportreg.com (MSR) website to include your current contact information, valid credit card, and PCA membership number.
- Registrants who do not have a PCA membership number on file in MotorsportReg will not be confirmed.
- If you haven’t received any notification, check the MSR website for your status.
- PCA Potomac Drive & Dine rules will be followed for the safety of all participants. (Discussed at the drivers’ briefing).
- An electronic version of the Drive & Dine rules, maps, and directions will be emailed to the email on-file with MSReg. You will be responsible for printing as needed.
SPEEDWAIVER - All participants, including drivers and guests, must agree to and sign the electronic SpeedWaiver form.
- The primary member will receive a text message to complete a virtual waiver via their smartphone.
- Additional passengers can complete the speed waiver using the link provided in your confirmation email. Primary members are responsible for sending the Speedwaiver link to their guests.
- For children riding along on the scenic drive, you must also complete this form: Minor_and_Parent_Form-WAIVER-PCA2009 (2).pdf. Please notify the D&D Chairs prior to the event if you will have a minor in attendance. Bring the completed form with you to the event or email it to the event host.
EVENT CANCELLATION
- Cancellations must be made no later than August 7th to get a full refund.
- If you are unable to cancel online, you must notify the Dine and Drive POC by email and receive an ACKNOWLEDGMENT by email to verify you have been canceled.
