About this event
ASM Driver's Ed is a new style of motorsports competition for all driving disciplines. An autocross-style course, with drift-style elements added and you, the driver, pick the fastest way around. Each car is scored with "Raw Time" - the actual time it takes to complete the course - plus Points earned for fulfilling the "Style" objectives as scored by a panel of judges. The more points you earn, the more time you subtract from your Raw Time. Fastest Total Time wins.
ASM Driver's Ed format is designed to encourage drivers to try new driving styles and has a focus on seat time. The day starts with open "Practice" heats and ends with the Driver's Ed Competition. ASM will also be offering driver coaching for both Grip & Drift driving at this event to help drivers improve & try new things.
