About this event
Drivers Ed Event: "Last Fling"
Sponsored by Elite Deck & Fence
Come join us for a last blast around the (nearly) famous race track at La Junta International airport. This is (nearly) like Sebring except 1,600 miles closer and a few less of those pesky turns to memorize. The (nearly) perfectly accurate Farmers Almanac forecast claims the bad, cold weather will be in the Northern Plains on our weekend meaning we should have a great Indian Summer weather to finish out our track events for the year.
We will have the traditional Ground School for novices, mandatory for the first timers and fun for the old hands at Boss Hoggs @ 7:00pm Friday night. Come on by for a chalk talk and beer an Barbecue.
On Saturday the gates open @ 7:00 am which is 12 minutes before Sunrise so we will have coffee and donuts on hand. A mandatory drivers meeting for all attendees is at 8:00 am.
Dinner Saturday night is part of your registration and is at Mexico City Cafe. Lots of authentic Mexican dishes. We pay for dinner and soft drinks, you pay for beer and Magaritas. Go easy on the Margaritas because Sunday morning we do it all again.
Fees: 2 days: $180.00 Includes Saturday night dinner & a T-shirt
One day only: $150
Co-driver in same car $20 bucks off
