About this event
Requirements to Race:
- AMP follows SCCA (General Competition Rules) for wheel to wheel racing with AMP specific supplemental rules added for contact (see below).
- Drivers must hold a valid racing license from an accredited organization like SCCA, NASA, INEX, SVRA, and WRL. Any driver who does not have a valid racing license but has competed in an AMP Racing Series event in 2022 or 2023 will be grandfathered in.
- AMP holds all drivers to a high level of sportsmanship and must follow the AMP Sporting Code at all times when competing in an AMP hosted racing event.
- The sound limit for cars on track is 98db at 50' NO EXCEPTIONS. Please contact Ken Ragan (704) 575-8542 on how to get your car under sound. Ken will have exhause inserts for sale trackside. We will flag you off track on the first violation and give you an opportunity to see Ken and fix it, on the 2nd violation you will be reitired from racing for the remainder of the day with no refund. Anyone caught removing sound baffles during the features will be DQ'd and recieve zero points.
- The DRIVERS MEETING is MANDATORY for all racers. You must attend to receive your daily drivers band.
- We will be using Westhold Transponders.

- Moonshine Series Race Schedule -

Race Format & Season Points:
- The 2024 Moonshine Series will consist of 7 races over 3 race weekends. A driver's best 5 finishes will count towards their Season Points total.
- Moonshine Series race format consists of 2x 10-min Hot Laps Session, 1x 3-Lap GWC Qualifying Session, 2x 8-lap Feature Races. Qualifying will set the grid for Feature #1. Finishing order from Feature #1 will set the grid for Feature #2.
- Drivers will be divided into 2 groups based on qualifying times. The top half of the field will be Group A and the bottom half will be Group B. 1st, 2nd, 3rd in each race receives a podium award!
- Drivers will be awarded season points based on their finishing order next to other drivers in their normal Legends and Bandolero Class. Finishing order will be calculated based on Group A first, then Group B second. 100 Points are awarded for top place in class each race, with 10 points subtracted for each position behind the class leader. A minimum of 25 Points are awarded if you take the green flag but but do not finish the race or place lower than 8th in your class.
- Season awards for each class will be presented to the winners at the end of season banquet being hosted at AMP, immediately following the last race of the season.

How to Spectate:
- All AMP Races are free to spectate. Please bring a camping chair and a portable radio (88.7FM) if you want to hang-out on spectator hill, or come stand on the balcony and listen to our live racing coverage from the building speakers while you watch!
- AMP produces full live broadcast coverage of every race free on YouTube! Coverage includes live commentary, victory lane interviews, FPV drone and instant replay! Watch Live or any previous race On-Demand!

*Each race entry includes 2x 10min Hot Laps sessions, 1x 3-Lap G-W-C Qualifying Session, 1x 8-lap Heat Race, 1x 8-Lap Feature Races (Points) and a Podium Awards Ceremony at the conclusion of the event.
**Registration and Drivers meeting located in the showroom on the 2nd floor of the clubhouse.
Transponder Rental:
Daily – $45
*Transponders available on race day located at registration on the second floor of the club house.

Lunch will be available for purchase on-site by our onsite food provider SmokeHouse Q

** We will allow one grace application of the fee paid towards another race for cancelation, within that calendar year only **
** We will also allow one grace opportunity to waive the late Registration Fee, one time per year **
Event requirements
AMP Championship Series is Open to All AMP Members and Non-Members, with a qualifying vehicle.

Non-members must meet one of the following criteria:
- Drivers must hold a valid racing license from an accredited organization like SCCA, NASA, INEX, SVRA, and WRL. Any driver who does not have a valid racing license but has competed in an AMP Racing Series event in 2022 or 2023 will be grandfathered in. All drivers who have not competed at AMP in the last 2 seasons or do not hold a valid racing license will be required to complete the 1-Day AMP Race Series Sign-Off Program powered by Primal Racing.

MANDATORY DRIVERS MEETING FOR ALL DRIVERS LOCATED IN THE SHOWROOM ON THE SECOND FLOOR OF CLUB HOUSE. DRIVERS BANDS ARE GIVEN OUT AT THE END OF THE DRIVERS MEETING.
