About this event
Date dependent on Chinook Pass opening by Memorial Day weekend – the tour will be postponed otherwise.
A ~175 mile driving tour through some of the most beautiful terrain in the area. Starting in Auburn, we’ll travel east of Lake Tapps, then south of Enumclaw before taking WA-410 over Cayuse Pass and Chinook Pass on our way to lunch in Naches. There will likely be snow still visible on the sides of the road near the passes, so the late spring greenery should be spectacular.
Lunch will be enroute in Naches at either Bron Yr Aur Brewing Company or Van's 1885 Bar and Grill. Details on who goes where will be in the final Welcome letter a few days before the tour.
When this tour was run in 2024, it continued for 1 hour to historic Roslyn via roads not named US Interstate 90. For those who wish to follow the same path to enjoy a beverage at The Brick Saloon, written directions will be available – but please recognize this is not part of the tour this year.
