About this event
The Allegheny Chapter is hosting three (3) Karting events this year at the Pittsburgh International Race Complex, Wilson Circut.
Named as the Wilson Circuit Kart Track, the facility features a 0.83-mile kart track. Surfaced with high-grade asphalt to provide a maximum grip for karts, the track has exciting twists and turns as well as speeding straight sections to provide you with a thrilling and fun-filled racing experience. The great thing about this karting track is that it doesn’t feel restrictive due to its size. It provides racers with plenty of overtaking opportunities and also helps to improve the driver’s technical racing skills.
We will enjoy 6.5 hp go-karts powered by Honda 270 GX engines. These karts are of world-class quality that provide a thrilling racing experience. Capable of reaching speeds of up to 45 mph, these karts offer a great adrenaline rush. The high quality and unique build of the karts ensure safety of the driver while providing an overall pleasurable driving adventure.
Participants can sign up for one, two or all three of the events. The dates are May 23, August 15 (NEW DATE) and October 3 at 10:00 am. Cost is $65 per person per event. Pitt Race provides jacket, neck brace and helmet. Drivers are required to wear closed toe shoes. It is also recommended that participants wear long pants.
