CLASSES: 09.17.2022 - McCreary Autocross Airport Cones Attack - Guide.pdf
Open to any car model, brand, or makers. Saturday, September 17th: Bring your car and join the Porsche Club of America and Backroads of Appalachia to the 1st Airport Course Attack Autocross competitive and fun event at the McCreary County Airport (1810 Airport Road; Pine Knot, KY 42635).
¾ mile air strip filled with cones on an amazing autocross course! Awards to FTD!
REGISTRATION FEE:
- PCA Member: $40
- Non-PCA Member: $50
- County Residents: $25 (DL must be presented for address confirmation)
- Pay-at-the-gate: $60
SCHEDULE
- Gates Open: 7:00 AM
- Registration: 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM (if not sold out)
- Check-in: 7:30 AM - 8:45 AM
- Tech Inspection: 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM
LATE ARRIVALS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RUN.
- Novice Walks: Listen for announcements
- Drivers Meeting: 9:45 AM
- First Car Out: 10:15 AM
- Post Event Trophy Presentation and social
The event is hosted and presented by the Wilderness Trail Region Porsche Club of America and sponsored by the Backroads of Appalachia. We would also like to thank the assistance from McCreary County Fiscal Court, McCreary County Tourism, and McCreary County Airport Authority in making this event happen.

Event requirements
Helmet required! Helmets built to Snell Foundation standards or other standards such as FIA 8860, SFI 31.1 and BS6658- 85 Type A-FR are approved for use. Approved helmets must be manufactured to the current rating or the two most recent SA, M or K Snell ratings. Snell SA standard allowed SA2010, SA2015 and SA2020. Motorcycles helmet are NOT approved for Autocross.
