About this event
Tour to Ken Austin’s A-Dec Car Private Collection in Newberg
Ken Austin is the founder of A-Dec, a company that manufactures dental chairs. Prior to his career in the dental industry, he built hot rods in the late ‘50’s, in fact, his company still makes engine parts for classic hot rods. Over the years, Ken has accumulated a fascinating collection of cars and trucks. For example, he has a late ‘40’s 4-door Ford convertible that was used to carry the queen in the Rose Parade. Ken will give us a private tour of his museum, with many stories and antidotes along the way. The tour is free. Please bring your friends and enjoy a relaxing and enjoyable drive and tour of a private collection that even his employees rarely have the opportunity to see. By the way, a corner of his building has a dental chair museum for your viewing.
After the tour, we will have lunch at the Jory Restaurant in The Allison Inn and Spa (2525 Allison Lane in Newberg)
