ACLS 2017 State Meet

Deadline Extended - Register by May 12th!

Good news! The organizers have extended the deadline to register for the ACLS 2017 State Meet in Austin, TX on May 19-21. You now have until May 12th to sign up and be part of the fun! Please note the limitations of late registration, outlined below.

• Hotel: The room block and pricing at the SpringHill Suites Austin Cedar Park expired as of May 5th and there are no more rooms available as of this date. Out-of-towners, you still have options! Please call the hotel directly at (512) 260-1200 to see if there have been any cancellations, or feel free to stay at one of the many other hotels in the Cedar Park, TX area. Other hotels near the Toll 183-A and 1431/E Whitestone Blvd area include: La Quinta Inn & Suites Austin - Cedar Park, Best Western Cedar Inn, and Comfort Inn. [If you have already booked your room at the SpringHill Suites under our block on or before May 5th, you will receive our guaranteed rate. Please check with the hotel to confirm.]
• T-shirts: A limited number of official State Meet t-shirts will be available for purchase at the event on a first-come-first-served basis. We can't guarantee availability as the shirt order will not be modified after the original registration close date of May 5th. [If you signed up on or before May 5th, don't worry - your shirt will be waiting for you at registration on the 19th.]

Join Audi Club Lone Star members from all over Texas as we converge on the capital city of Austin for the 2017 State Meet. The official hotel headquarters is located in Cedar Park, TX, a fast-growing suburb of our vibrant capital city (details below). We have a great event planned for you so far, with some details still in the works. You should expect exciting cars, great friends, a swag bag, and of course some tasty Austin food and a scenic Hill Country tour! All ages are welcome - from seasoned enthusiasts to future Audi drivers.

For the registration price of $130, you will receive access to all of the activities planned for the weekend. This includes complimentary dinner Friday & Saturday, and Sunday lunch and Inner Space cavern tour. You'll also have the chance to participate and win exciting prizes at the show & shine and Brink Motorsports open house, and the option to participate in the K1 Karting championship (at your own cost). • Event/meal cost is included in the registration price unless otherwise specified by a (*).
• The primary registrant must be a member of Audi Club North America. Sign up today at https://www.audiclubna.org! Audi fans of all ages are welcome.

Friday

On Friday after checking into the hotel, look for us in the hotel lobby lounge from 4pm - 6:30pm for registration. Don't forget to park in the designated Audi Club parking corral! After registration, we'll head over to the Petrol Lounge for a casual catered dinner and mingling. This will provide everyone an opportunity to meet their fellow Audi enthusiasts as we kick off the State Meet and build lasting memories. After that, we'll return to the hotel for more socializing and preparation for Saturday's events.

Note: The owners of the Petrol Lounge have been kind enough to allow us to enjoy dinner inside their facility where they house and care for customer cars - from classic to modern, every body style - an enthusiast's dream. Your State Meet planning team kindly asks that each attendee take care to stay well away from cars and obey all barriers and signage. Look all you want but please don't touch!

Saturday

We have many activities planned for Saturday beginning with an epic Hill Country fun drive with photo ops followed by an authentic Texas BBQ lunch at James Beard award-winning Louie Mueller Barbecue* in Taylor, TX. The afternoon's plans for a Show 'n' Shine are still in the works, but we'll close out the day keeping to the ACLS State Meet tradition of German dinner at Walburg German Restaurant in Walburg, TX. Those with energy left after dinner can join an optional cruise to Pinballz* to blow off some steam and have fun together and close out the night.

Sunday

After a laid back breakfast, we'll mosey on over to Georgetown, TX for an Inner Space Cavern adventure tour (great for adults and kids!). Afterwards, we'll cruise down to Brink Motorsports' brand new location on Burnet Rd. Mike Brink will host a casual lunch, give tours of the shop, and might even have some goodies to offer lucky members. He's also offering a deal on APR tunes - 10% off and free installation - during the event.

That brings us to the annual ACLS karting championship at K1 Speed*, which is another tradition we plan to continue this year. Participation will be optional, and the cost is due at the venue. The more people we get signed up, the better!
