Join us for a Poker Run on Saturday, October 10, to support our 2026 charity, the SPCA of Luzerne County, whose mission is to uplift our community by providing compassion, comfort, and care to domestic companion animals through education, advocacy, protection, and a shelter/adoption program. Core Goals

Shelter and Care: Providing a safe place for unwanted, neglected, or abused animals.
Adoptions: Finding permanent, caring homes for pets.
Education: Teaching the public about animal welfare and proper care.
Protection and Law Enforcement: Enforcing anti-cruelty laws to protect animals.

Through this event, we will raise funds for the SPCA ($25 per car) while supporting local businesses as we cruise through the Poconos. RT and Carol Horch have put together a fantastic route featuring a wonderful selection of stops to enjoy.

Route & Schedule

Start	Mountain Top Lodge at Lake Naomie 2137 PA-940, Pocono Pines, PA 18350	9:30 AM — Kick off the day with driver’s meeting by 9:45.
Stop 1	Callies Candy Kitchen 1111 PA-390, Mountainhome, PA 18342	Collect your first poker card. Feel free to explore the shop or local area.
Stop 2	Candle Shoppe of the Poconos 1900 PA-611, Swiftwater, PA 18370	Collect your second poker card and enjoy a few surprises along the way.
Stop 3	Heckman Orchard 3009 PA-115, Effort, PA 18330	Collect your final poker card before heading to the finish. Peruse the fresh produce available.
Finish	Woody’s Country House 4775 PA-115, Blakeslee, PA 18610	Gather as a group to determine the winner and award the prize!
