CKRC 2026 Sea-Can Reserved Paddock Parking

Purpose of Sea-Cans

Sea-Cans are intended solely for the storage of karting-related equipment to support active participation in the sport.

• Not for general storage
• Not for vehicles or household items
• Not for inactive or non-members

Any non-compliant materials must be removed immediately upon request by the CKRC Board or Club Manager.

General Use & Conduct

• No business activity is permitted from any Sea-Can without prior written approval from the CKRC Board
• Members must maintain their Sea-Can and surrounding area in a clean, safe, and respectful manner
• CKRC reserves the right to request relocation or adjustment of any Sea-Can as required

Sea-Can Specifications & Placement

• Standard size: 20 ft Sea-Can
• Approved colour: Beige/Grey (uniform appearance)
• Location: East pond fence line (or as designated annually by the Board)
• Orientation: Parallel to fence with 4 ft setback
• Layout:
  • Installed in paired configuration (end-to-end)
  • 20–22 ft spacing between pairs

Final placement must be approved prior to delivery onto CKRC property.

Site & Ground Requirements

• Base preparation and leveling are the responsibility of the owner
• Surrounding area must remain grass unless otherwise approved
• Area must be kept:
  • Clean
  • Free of debris
  • Free of stored materials outside the Sea-Can

Safety Requirements

• Fire extinguisher required per ASN Karting regulations
  • Must be visible and within arm’s reach of the door
• Fuel storage:
  • Maximum 2 approved 20L containers
  • Must be sealed and compliant
• Strictly prohibited:
  • Dumping fluids on CKRC property
  • Improper disposal of oils, coolant, or fuel

Construction & Modifications

• No structural modifications without written approval
• Venting must meet local requirements
• No stacking of containers permitted

Optional Deck Use (if approved):

• Engineered design required
• Professionally installed
• Subject to CKRC approval
• Owner responsible for all costs (including removal if required)

Financial Structure (2026)

• Space requirement: 20 ft x 30 ft (6 squares)
• Annual Rate (2026): $480.00
  • Includes MSR fee + GST
• Refundable Deposit: $525.00

Payment Terms:

• Paid in full prior to season start
• Renewal required before April 15
• Late accounts:
  • Subject to penalties
  • May result in loss of space
  • May escalate to lien or forfeiture

Depreciation schedule applies in case of CKRC repossession (as per policy).

Maintenance & Responsibility

Members agree to:

• Maintain cleanliness of the Sea-Can and surrounding area
• Prevent contamination or spills
• Keep space clear when not in active use

CKRC is not responsible for theft, damage, or vandalism

Relocation & Enforcement

• CKRC may require Sea-Cans to be moved for:
  • Maintenance
  • Events
  • Site planning
• If the owner cannot comply:
  • CKRC may move the Sea-Can at the owner’s expense

Membership Requirement

• Active CKRC membership is required at all times

All agreements expire March 31 annually
