PCA-GGR Autocross #7, a Zone 7 Event on Saturday, September 12th, at Crows Landing NAS sponsored by Porsche Redwood City.

This will be a special event featuring a long (1.5-2.0 mile) course that will present challenges to even the best autocrossers!  We welcome experienced drivers from all clubs.

Registration opens at 6:00 pm Pacific on Tuesday, August 25, 2026.  Event capacity is 90 drivers.

• Registration for current PCA members driving Porsches in Zone 7 Classes is $100 less a $15 discount with a tentative limit of 70 drivers.
• Fun registrations for non-Porsche drivers are welcome for $100 and will be waitlisted after 20 drivers (tentative) toward the event capacity of 90. 
• We are not offering first-time "Student" driver registrations as we will have limited capacity for instruction. Novice drivers – those who successfully participated in at least 2-3 events, have driven solo, and are experienced working the course – are encouraged to register, with the reminder that no formalized instruction will be offered.

Registration closes at 6:00 pm Pacific on Wednesday, September 9th, or when our limit of 90 participants is reached.  Registration Fees are non-refundable after registration closes.

Co-drivers sharing one car will be assigned to separate run groups and must run with unique car numbers.  Each driver should register individually, indicating in the process that they are sharing a car, and including the co-driver’s name (LastName, FirstName).

Drivers must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid, government-issued driver’s license to register and participate in this event.  Drivers may be asked to show their license.

Adult guests may attend but must also sign the above SpeedWaiver in advance.  Minor guests require special paper waivers signed in advance of the event by both parents – please contact the Autocross Director for waiver forms or further information.

Drivers must acknowledge the PCA Zone 7 policy on personal transportation devices to register: “The use of personal transportation devices, including but not limited to bicycles, scooters and skateboards, whether powered or non-powered, is solely at the operator’s own risk.  The Autocross Director retains sole discretion to restrict, limit or prohibit use of such devices for any reason.”  Note: It is also suggested that such devices be used primarily at a walking pace as speed on course is a safety and a competition issue.

Run Group and Work Assignments will be added to the registration info on MSReg after registration closes ~2 days prior to the event under the "Entries" section for the event.

• This is an all-day event.  Half-day participation is not available. 
• Lunch sandwiches and bottled water will be provided as part of your registration.
• With 2+ people in a car, at least one must be a trained PCA Zone 7 Autocross Instructor.

Note that the PCA Zone 7 Autocross Car Classes have changed for 2026: 

• The Novice Class, “N-01” is exclusively for novice Porsche car drivers who have attended 10 or less autocross events (regardless of club affiliation) in their driving history.  
• The prior “A” Class was eliminated – now, the entry point for unmodified “as delivered” Porsche cars is the Optioned (“O”) Class.
• Three Modified “M” Classes were added for cars with weight and aero modifications that enable competitive advantages beyond those of the Prepared “P” Classes but which fall short of the even more extensive modifications allowed in the Unlimited “U” Class.
• Optioned “O”, Prepared “P”, Unlimited “U” and “Fun” Classes carry over from the 2025 rule set.

What to bring:

• Chair and possibly a personal umbrella for sunshade.
• Painter's tape (1-1/2” wide preferred) which contrasts well with your car's paint color, or printed vinyl / magnetic car numbers.  Car numbers must be visible from a 75' distance on both sides of the car.
• Sunscreen, hat, layers for cooler mornings and warmer afternoons, possibly with significant winds (No RED clothing as that could be mistaken for a safety flag).
