2026 Over the Valley Tour

Not a morning person?  Join us for a rare afternoon tour through the beautiful Catoctin Mountains!  We will meet in Frederick around 11:30 near the I-15 and I-26 interchange.  From Frederick we will head north to Catoctin Mountain National Park near Thurmont where we will take an extended mid-tour break.  During our stop in the park, you can take a short walk in the woods to one of two nearby scenic vistas, or just enjoy a picnic break with your fellow tour participants.  The Blue Ridge Summit Vista is a half mile round trip and provides a view looking out toward Pennsylvania.  The Hog Rock Summit, the highest summit in the park, is a one-mile round trip and provides a view looking out toward Maryland.  Both of these summits are an easy walk in the woods from the parking area, but we do recommend bringing appropriate footwear.  After we finish our break at Catoctin Mountain National Park, we will start heading south toward Point of Rocks and our destination of Rocky Point Creamery.

All Drivers must have an active BMW CCA membership and register on MotorsportReg.Com.

Tour Registration Closes Promptly at 8pm on Tuesday, May 26th or earlier if max registratons are reached.

Due to parking and logistics we will cap this tour at 30 vehicles so register SOON!

Cost is $20 per vehicle. 

If you cancel before the tour closes you will be refunded to original payment method.  If cancelling after the tour is closed and we can fill your  spot with someone on the waitlist, you will get refunded an MSR credit useful for any event on MSR.
