MIATA CANADA CUP 2026!
CASC-OR is pleased to announce that MIATA CANADA CUP is back for 2026. There has been great interest is this series. If you have a Mazda Miata or are thinking about buying one then this is for you.
New for 2026 – the Miata Canada Cup is limited to MCC1 Cars only. That means Miatas built from 1990 to 2005 NA and NB cars exclusively.
There will be specific "series races" on the following CASC-OR Regional Championship weekends:
- BEMC Spring Trophy: May 9- 10 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park
- SMP Cup: May 30 - May 31 at Shannonville Motorsport Park
- NASCAR: July 18 - 19 at Calabogie Motorsport Park
- OSCC Calabogie Summer Classic: August 22 - 23 at Calabogie Motorsport Park
- Celebration of Motorsport: October 3 - 4 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.
Remember, if your Miata complies with the 2026 Miata Canada Cup rules, you can also enter the Pirelli Touring races as well (even if there is not a Miata Canada Cup race)! Your vehicle may even qualify to run on the VARAC grid (please note: If you are interested in this possibility, please contact Ted Michalos at VARAC)
Event requirements
In order to participate in the sponsorship program, you must complete this registration form before May 9, 2026.
You must be a member of a CASC-OR affiliated Club and hold a valid recognized competition license as per the CASC-OR Race Regulations.
You and your car must comply with the 2026 CASC-OR Race Regulations (including the appendices).
