About this event
Detroit Region SCCA Solo Test N Tune
This is a 1-day open-track event dedicated to providing the opportunity for drivers to gain invaluable seat time and tuning for their vehicles.
We have a cap for the event at 60! We will make a decision regarding waitlisted entrants three days before the event.
All online registrations require the following information:
- Car information
- Payment (online payments only)
Payment Breakdown (MSR Service Fee +$2)
- Members: $60
- Council: $75
- No Affiliation $80
Pre-registration and pre-payment makes registration and check-in much faster, and facilitates contactless check-in on-site. We will not accept cash or checks. It is the event Chairpersons discretion whether or not the event entries will be capped. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Tammy Breece, Registrar at firstname.lastname@example.org or Greg Valade, Solor Director at email@example.com
- If your membership has lapsed, you will be charged a non-member rate until your membership has been renewed.
2. Find your car classing in the SCCA rules here: Rulebook
3. Class groups (Index/PAX groups) are based on your SCCA car class - based on the table below, select the appropriate group in your registration. Failure to do so will cause an error before completing registration.
If you are not feeling well, do not come to the event. Please cancel your registration on MotorsportReg.com and request a full refund, prior to 7:30 am the day of the event, so someone on the waitlist can take your spot.
It is strongly recommended that drivers bring their own helmets if at all possible.
We will allow drivers to borrow loaner helmets. You will be asked to use a head sock with the helmet. Passengers are not guaranteed access to loaner helmets; we will be trying to reduce the number of folks sharing helmets while still offering drivers without helmets an opportunity to compete without having to buy their own.
We will not be able to sanitize helmets between users, and will attempt to limit to the best of our ability the number of drivers that end up sharing a helmet. If you are not comfortable with this, please bring your own helmet to the event
Roving Tech For this Event
Welcome to the Detroit Region of the SCCA
If you like to drive hard, then Autocross is for you! During autocross competition, drivers compete against the clock as they navigate technical courses. Each driver is given at least three chances to post their best time. It's fast, it's fun, and nearly anyone can afford to participate.
If you'd like to participate in the next autocross event, your car and a helmet are pretty much all you'll need to get started. Autocross competition is broken down into a number of classes so that virtually any car can be competitive. So whether you own a Corvette or a Civic, you can be sure you'll have a great time. So make your plans to attend today.
For more information about event dates, and location, check out the Solo schedule of events. We want to see you there!
