2023 Cheesehead Challenge
The Cheesehead Challenge is the Wisconsin State Karting Championship. Do you have what it takes to be the Wisconsin state champion and take home the championship belt? Come prove it!
Rounds 1 & 2: 7/1 and 7/2 at Briggs & Stratton Motorplex at Road America
Rounds 3 & 4: 8/5 and 8/6 at Mill-Rite Raceway, home of Badger Kart Club
New tire rules for 2023: 2-cycle classes run new or used MG Red tires. 4-cycle classes run new or used MG Orange tires.
Registration Fee: $100 per class per day

Event requirements
Karts must pass safety inspection on race day.
Helmets must be full-faced with Snell 2010 or certain SFI ratings. Snell 2005 helmets expired 12/20/2016 - Snell 2010 or later are required for the 2017 season.
BKC follows the WKA helmet certification policy.
Tires: The Cheesehead Challenge uses MG Tires as their spec tire. 2-cycle classes us the MG SH, HZ, or HZi "Red" tire. 4-cycle classes use the MG RL1 or VK "Orange" tire.
Bodywork: In 2-cycle classes, CIK-style bodywork and a push-back front bumper are required. In 4-cycle classes, CIK-style bodywork is required.
