This year's Autocross School will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana! There will be an open practice the following day on December 1, 2019 —included for free to all attendees of the school. Students are encouraged to attend both days to maximize the learning experience.
The purpose of the school is to introduce drivers to proper autocross techniques and car handling. Everyone skill level is welcome, from beginners and intermediates looking to improve, to those who would just like to improve their basic car handling skills.
Our main goal is for students to have fun and build confidence as they learn:
Students will be paired with an instructor, based on car type and skill level. Our instructors include SCCA National Champions and National trophy winners. Saturday will include a “chalk-talk” in the morning to familiarize all participants in the basics of autocross, course element identification, and driving technique.
Instructors will be available during all of Sunday’s run groups at the open practice. We expect all Sunday drivers to get approximately 12 runs each during the day.
