Join us for an evening of merriment and BMWs as we return to Virginia for our Annual Meeting and holiday celebration.
This event promises to be an exciting event for our chapter and any BMW enthusiast; you definitely don't want to miss out!
Guest Speakers:
Mike Renner
Mike Renner is a professional driver for BMW and is responsible for corporate sales and the BMW Performance Center in Greenville South Carolina. He began racing in 1983 and Mike has competed in a variety of classes including GT, showroom stock, improved touring and sports racers for the past 27 years. He started instructing at the BMW Performance Center just after it’s opening in the fall of 1999 and his list of trainees includes new drivers, racers, F.B.I agents and Secret Service members who are assigned the task of presidential protection. Mike received international instructor certification in basic, advanced, advanced M vehicles, intensive, perfection, and racetrack. Included in Mike’s duties as a driver for BMW is the opportunity to drive BMW racecars from their historic fleet.
Scott Hughes
Scott and his wife, Fran, Hughes are BMW CCA members #1473. They joined BMW CCA in 1970 shortly after acquiring with their 1968 BMW 1600. They have been members of 7 Chapters, currently Sandlapper Chapter in SC. They attended their first Oktoberfest in 1971 and have attended 40+ since. Scott and Fran put on the first ever BMW CCA Driving School in 1974 at Lime Rock and started BMW CCA Club Racing in 1995 at Moroso in FL. They were the first COUPLE awarded the prestigious Friend of the Marque award by BMW AG. Scott is currently a Trustee of the BMW CCA Foundation with a special passion for the Tire Rack Street Survival program. He collects, shows and races significant BMWs nationally and internationally.
Each attendee will enjoy a cocktail reception, buffet dinner, and receive one drink ticket. Additional drinks can be purchased via a cash bar. All attendees will be entered to win great door prizes at night's end.
Cocktail hour will commence at 6:30 p.m.
Dinner to follow at 7:30p.m.
The annual meeting will commence at 8:30pm.

IMPORTANT: This is the meeting at which the chapter Board members will be announced for the 2017 term.
*The price includes a cocktail reception, buffet dinner, one drink ticket, and one raffle ticket.
**Walk-up attendees are highly discouraged. If space allows we will accommodate. Registration via Motorsportreg will be required either on-site or in advance.
***Due to our contractual obligations with the venue and the need to finalize the number of attendees, cancelations after February 3, 2017 will result in no refund.
