About this event

Continental Tire Monterey Grand Prix featuring the "TUDOR UNITED SportsCar Championship Series" at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca: May 2nd & 3rd 2015

Get the BEST VIEW by joining Audi Club Golden Gate Chapter’s 8th Annual “Turn 5 Hospitality Pavilion and Car Corral”

“The TUDOR United SportsCar Championship is America’s premier road racing series and is entering its second season with ferocity and international driving stars. For fans, the racing is non-stop as there are two styles of cars competing: Prototype and GT (Grand Touring). Each style also has two classes, Pro and Pro-Am for a race within a race.”

Join your fellow motorsports enthusiasts for a thrilling weekend at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca (MRLS) and enjoy the camaraderie of the AUDI CLUB GOLDEN GATE CHAPTER at the famous AUDI CLUB “TURN 5 HOSPITALITY PAVILION and CAR CORRAL”

During the event we will serve morning coffee & and breakfast items and we will serve assorted snacks throughout the weekend plus free soft drinks & water. Corkscrew Ale will be on-tap along with high quality local wines for a nominal charge.  On Sunday we will also have an On-Site BBQ lunch prepared by locally famous Tarpy’s Roadhouse all from within and around the full-sized pavilion situated near the inside corner of the best of MRLS trackside locations: TURN 5.   In addition, several of our AUDI CLUB SPONSORS will be present and ready to help you learn about the latest accessories to enhance the performance of your car.

Participants will have access to special events featuring some of the Audi R8 LMS teams, which are participating in the Grand Prix and will also have the opportunity to win hot-lap rides of the track in Audi SportsCar Experience’s R8 cars driven by professional drivers.

This event is brought to you with sponsorship from: Audi of America, Audi Club North America, the Golden Gate Chapter of the Audi Club, Stevens Creek Audi, Griffin Motorwerke, OnEdge Performance Tires, Tudor Wines and Griot's Garage.  Without this very generous support, the cost of the weekend would be significantly higher.  Be sure to let our sponsors know that you appreciate their participation in motorsports, we certainly do!

We have negotiated an excellent value for our friends and members with discounted event entry tickets for a two-day race ticket (Saturday and Sunday, the 2nd and 3rd May).  Every ticket holder who wishes to enjoy entrance into the Audi Club Turn 5 Hospitality Pavilion must also purchase a Hospitality Pass. Teenagers and children are welcome and each has separate, lower pricing.  A separate Audi Car Corral Pass should be purchased for each car that is to be parked in the Preferred Parking BLUE ZONE adjacent to our tent. Purchasers of Audi Car Corral Passes must also purchase at least one Hospitality Pass.

You can purchase all of the tickets you need right here on MotorsportReg.com.

Here's how it works:

For those who wish to purchase the discounted two-day race ticket plus entry into the Hospitality Pavilion and the Audi Car Corral, please purchase one “Continental Tire Monterey Grand Prix” Race Event Entry Ticket per person, one Hospitality Tent Ticket per person, and one Audi Car Corral Pass per vehicle.  When you go to register, select as many per-person tickets as you need, and if you are all coming in one car - you'll only need one car corral pass.

Preliminary list of special events (subject to change)

Paul Miller Racing Team has offered to provide Audi Club members with a "tech talk".  The theme of the talk is the R8 LMS car, raced by Paul Miller and Flying Lizards in the GTD class, alongside the Daytona Prototype sports cars.  Much of exactly what happens during the race weekend will be finalized between now and the day of the race, but other things we're working on with Paul Miller and Flying Lizards and the other Audi Teams can include the following.

  • Autograph session with the drivers at the Audi Club Hospitality area
  • A briefing from Paul Miller, Flying Lizards or Audi Sport Customer Racing about the technology that has been developed for the R8 LMS racecar
  • Hear first hand, from the Driver's perspective and experience, what it's like to share the track with this multiple-class group of high-performance cars
