About this event
The cost of the Teen Drivers Clinic is $99 for each student which will include breakfast snacks, water and lunch with beverages. It is an additional $15 for any parent or other person who wants to attend along with the student and they will receive the same breakfast, water and lunch
The event will teach teen drivers to control a car in a variety of real world situations. We teach accident avoidance, ABS and panic braking, slalom driving in both wet and dry conditions, all of which are designed to improve awareness of your car. Additionally there is an exercise called 'driving the dots' that is designed to make the teens more aware of where the edge of the lane (or curb) is located. Classroom sessions will focus on "real world" situations that teens face every day on the road, such as texting while driving and other distractions as well as proper lane changing, merging and passing techniques.
At the end of the day every teen should leave with much improved driving skills and a big smile on their faces. If you have any questions, please send email to joe@audiclubgoldengate.org or tom@audiclubgoldengate.org .

Event requirements
The event is open to all teen drivers between the ages of 16-19 with a valid driver license or provisional driving permit. You do not need to be a member of the Audi Club to attend and all makes and models of cars are welcome. All teen students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and they must be driving a fully registered vehicle. Vehicles can be shared but it is not recommended. The teen will gain more from the clinic if they spend the whole day in their own car. If two teens will be sharing a car, a seperate registration for each teen is necessary. Please make sure that the year, make, model and color of the car you are bringing is accurately recorded during registration.
It is recommended that the teens bring the car they are most likely to drive on a daily basis and you should do a basic safety check prior to attending the clinic. (Do the brakes work? Is there tread on the tires, are they inflated properly? Are the brake lights functional? etc.) While there will be a tech check at the event, it is important that the vehicle be in a safe and roadworthy condition for the event.
