1-DAY DK RACING SCHOOL - SCCA NOVICE PERMIT

DK Racing School is an SCCA Novice Permit Accredited Racing School located at 3491 75th Street W, Rosamond, CA at Willow Springs International Raceway. We have helped develop many champions and our youngest driver competed at Le Mans in 2025!

DK Racing School is holding a 1-Day Intensive DK Racing School - SCCA Novice Permit on April 30th, 2026 at Buttonwillow Raceway Park following the SCCA Curriculum for SCCA Novice Permit Race Licensing.

There is no pre-requisite to attending our school. Everybody is welcome, whether you have little to no experience or a lot of experience on the race track. The curriculum is designed for you to go from "Never have I ever" to race ready in our 1 Day School. Even if you have no aspirations for racing, this school is great to learn how to drive comfortably on the racetrack with other cars and in open passing situations. We will divide our day into Classroom and Track Sessions with over 3 Hours of Track Time. We will have 2 groups: Street Cars and Race Cars. Race Cars are those that have more safety protection such as a roll bar or roll cage and 5 point harness. Any car make and model are welcome. Drive to the track in your daily driver and join us.

• Pre-Race Preparation and Procedures at event
• Race Procedures
• Post-Race Procedures
• Flag Recognition - Flag Test
• Racing Room Rules and Penalties
• Car Control
• Rules of the Road
• Racing Theory
• Line Theory

2.   On-Track Sessions

• Flag Recognition and Respect
• Demonstrated proficiency of items covered in Classroom Sessions
• Side by Side, Triple Side By Side and Other Drills
• Practice Starts and Race

3.   Other Sessions

• Street Car Drive Arounds
• Track Walks

After successful completion of the 1 Day DK Racing School - SCCA Novice Permit School, you will receive a SCCA Certificate of Compliance and the SCCA Novice Permit which will enable you to participate in 6 SCCA Regional Provisional Race Events around the United States before receiving your Full SCCA Competition License.

SCCA is the largest racing organization in the World with over 65,000 members around the country. You can complete your provisional races anywhere in the United States. Our local chapter is SCCA Cal Club. Cal Club is holding it's race weekend event right after our school on May 1st-2nd, 2026.

DK Racing School has 5 Porsche race prepared cars for rent.
