About this event
NNJR is back for three great days at Watkins Glen! This is a premier venue at one of the best tracks in the country. We will run the full course for all days. Event is open to all driving enthusiasts (including students) and marques except open-wheeled cars.
Thanks to our friends at Paul Miller Porsche, there will be a FREE BBQ/dinner on Saturday night!
You will need a MotorsportReg account to register. If you don’t have one, you can create one at any time. Just go back to the previous main page and click on the “Create Account” tab above the event list. Then return to the event page and click on the event to register.
All attendees will be required to follow Federal, State, and Local Government CDC COVID 19 guidelines including but not limited to the use of hand sanitizer, wearing of masks in buildings and closed spaces, and sanitation procedures. Additional requirements and information regarding these compliance policies will be announced [and made available on the NNJR website]
No partial (one day) registrations are accepted.
No refunds after Aug 12; no event credits in MotorsportReg will be issued after Aug 19.
Final assignments to run groups will be made by the event staff.
STUDENTS: Groups (Green, Yellow and Blue) are kept artificially low in number to ensure we have sufficient instructors. You may be initially waitlisted, but sign up anyway. Students will be accepted as instructors sign up. Do not sign up for another group just to avoid being waitlisted.
If you are wait-listed, please check your status frequently, as the Registrar will move you off of the wait list as spots open up. With few exceptions, everyone who registers on Day 1 eventually gets accepted, just be patient.
Note that Watkins Glen garage rentals will be handled as a separate registration, see our main registration page. http://nnjr-pca.motorsportreg.com/
NNJR has a reputation of conducting safe, high quality events at a fair price. This is the most expensive venue we visit, and the track raises the price every year. Thanks for your understanding. That being said, we are still very competive with other clubs for a 3-day event:
Participants must be at least 18 years old, and have a valid driver's license. Snell M or SA rated 2015 or 2020 helmets are required (SA Highly Recommended). A limited number of loaner helmets are available for first-time drivers, contact the Track Chair to reserve.
Your car must pass a pre-event tech inspection. Mandatory Tech Inspection information including requirements, location, date, forms can be found here: https://nnjr-pca.com/driver-ed/#safety-tech . This information also will be distributed with the acceptance/confirmation email package. Out-of -Region participants may have their car inspected by their Region's tech inspectors as in the previous link. All participants need to use the NNJR tech form.
You will need a credit card to register (this "holds" your registration, similar to making a reservation at a hotel). Your card will not be charged until a few weeks prior to the event.
If your registration group shows "wait-listed", register anyway. Due to cancellations, almost everyone who might be initially wait listed will eventually be accepted into the event. The earlier you sign up, the better chance you have.
Do not register for another group if your initial group/registration is wait-listed. If you are wait-listed, please check your status frequently, as the Registrar will move you off of the wait list as spots open up. This is especially true for instructed groups as we can add additional students after additional instructors register. This event always sells out quickly.
